Songs From Psalms
This is a quiet work of reflection and expression drawn from the Psalms.
The Psalms have long given voice to the human heart—joy and sorrow, trust and longing, worship and repentance. In them we find words that reach beyond time, speaking both to God and from God.
In this space, I have begun shaping portions of Scripture into song—simple expressions drawn from the Psalms and formed into lyrics.
The Heart Behind the Songs
These songs are not meant to improve upon Scripture, but to dwell within it.
Each piece begins with the Word itself, followed by reflection, and then shaped into verses, choruses, and sometimes a bridge—carrying the same truth in a form that can be sung and remembered.
They are offered simply, and with reverence.
My hope is not performance, but meditation— not perfection, but sincerity— not attention, but remembrance of Him.
On Process
In this season, I have used tools such as ChatGPT and Suno Music AI to assist in shaping these songs.
The words begin with Scripture and personal reflection. These tools help organize and express those thoughts more clearly, and in the case of music, allow the lyrics to be heard in a way I could not produce on my own.
They are instruments—not the source.
The message remains rooted in Scripture, and I remain responsible for what is written and shared.
A Gentle Invitation
You are invited to listen, to read, and to reflect.
If a song helps you remember a verse, or carries your thoughts toward the Lord, then it has served its purpose.
May these small offerings point, however quietly, back to Him.
These songs are being built slowly, deliberately, one Psalm at a time.
