You Are Life Inside of Me

Psalm 1:3  paints a picture of a life rooted in God—steady, nourished, fruitful, and untouched by the shifting winds around it. Holiness here is not pressure; it is placement. Like a tree by the rivers of Your grace,
rooted deep where Your living waters flow,
in Your Word I find my resting place;
in Your truth my spirit grows.

Through the storms I will not be moved;
Your voice is life within my soul.
Every season You are faithful and true;
Your Spirit makes the broken whole.

I am planted, I am steady,
by the river of Your love—
evergreen and always ready,
by the power from above.
What I do is in Your presence,
not by strength that comes from me;
living water, flowing endless—
You are life inside of me.

Fruit is rising where Your light remains;
peace and joy begin to grow.
Patient love through trial and pain,
self‑control in all I sow.

I am planted, I am steady,
by the river of Your love—
evergreen and always ready,
by the power from above.
What I do is in Your presence,
not by strength that comes from me;
living water, flowing endless—
You are life inside of me.

I will call upon Your Spirit;
You are near, You walk with me.
All I have is from Your goodness;
You are all I’ll ever need.
I will trust You, I will follow;
every word You speak is true.
Rooted deeply in Your promise—
Lord, I live my life in You.
