| — Psalm 2:1–7 reminds us that the world is not drifting or out of control; it is held firmly in the hands of the One the Father calls His Son. These words steady the heart. They remind us that Christ reigns with a righteousness that does not bend and a mercy that does not run out. This piece is simply my way of echoing that truth — a call to trust, a call to gratitude, and a gentle invitation to be wise while there is still time. In a world full of noise and pride, this Psalm teaches us to rest in the One who is exactly who He says He is. |
I will speak what You have said,
what the Father has declared:
“You’re My Son, My chosen One;
all the earth is in Your care.”
Ask of Me and it is Yours—
every nation, every land.
From the ends of all the earth,
they are held within Your hand.

Blessed are the ones who trust in You,
safe within Your sovereign hands.
There is nothing left to fear;
all is held within Your plan.
Jesus, You are reigning still over all,
both near and far.
We will rest within Your promise—
You are who You say You are.
You will reign in righteousness
with a strength that will not bend.
Every power, every pride
meets its final, rightful end.
Those who stand against Your truth
will not stand before Your light,
for Your justice will be sure
and Your judgment will be right.
But for us, there’s mercy here—
grace we know we don’t deserve.
Not by anything we’ve done,
but by trusting in Your Word.
You have called us to believe
and to walk within Your way.
With our heart and mind and soul,
we will love You and obey.
Be thankful, O my soul—
He is faithful, He is Lord.
Be thankful, O my soul—
every promise in His Word.
Be thankful, O my soul—
you are held, you are secure.
Be thankful, O my soul—
in His love forevermore.
So be wise, O hearts of men;
turn and listen while there’s time.
Serve the Lord with holy awe;
let your life reflect His light.
Kiss the Son and take His hand;
find your refuge in His grace.
For the blessed find their rest
in the glory of His face.
